Description

This grant will support Global Young Academy's (GYA) “Women in Science Leadership” workshop series, which empowers early-career women researchers from around the world through inclusive leadership training. The workshops aim to equip participants with the conflict resolution skills, negotiation skills, and inclusive leadership practices necessary for creating collaborative and diverse scientific communities. The series will feature an online workshop for 200 participants from across the globe focusing on inclusive leadership for Women in Science, followed by an in-person workshop for 80 women scientists which will focus on conflict resolution strategies, case studies, and in-person networking opportunities. Funding would support salaries for expert facilitators and trainers, accommodation for participants, travel, and the printing and publication of workshop materials.
