- Description
Legacies of War is a small, volunteer-based, and women-led organization dedicated to raising public awareness of U.S. military involvement in Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The large number of unexploded ordnances remaining in these countries continue to endanger lives and the environment. However, the legacies of these wars risk fading as survivors and refugees age, and younger generations lack opportunities to learn about them. This Luce grant will support Legacies of War's aims to expand its educational programming to protect, preserve, and deepen understanding of this history.
