H. Christopher Luce Elected Director Emeritus

The Henry Luce Foundation announces that after 31 years of service as a Board Director,
H. Christopher Luce has decided to step down as an active member of the Board of Directors due to health issues.  

Board Co-Chairs Debra Knopman and Terry Adamson thanked Mr. Luce for his contributions to the Foundation during his years of service, including when he served as a member of the Foundation program on Public Policy and the Environment.  

The Foundation wishes for him the speedy restoration of his health and continued success with his art and other philanthropic pursuits. The Foundation Board promptly unanimously elected Mr. Luce as a Director Emeritus of the Foundation.  

Mr. Luce thanked the Foundation for the new assignment as a Director Emeritus and said he would continue to follow the Foundation with great interest.

“Maintaining this connection with the Foundation is important to me, to keep abreast of what it’s doing and offer my services whenever called upon,” Mr. Luce added.
