Luce Scholars Nominating Institutions

Seventy-five U.S. colleges and universities have been invited to make nominations for the Luce Scholars Program. The participating institutions are committed to working with the Luce Scholars Program to provide a transformative experiential learning opportunity to their most compelling students and alums, while ensuring access, equity and inclusion. The list of participating schools is reviewed and revised from time to time.

Each nominating institution has designated a member of its faculty or administration to serve as the campus liaison for this program. The Luce Scholar liaison on each campus will establish an internal application deadline, typically sometime in September or October, as well as procedures for internal candidate review.

A nominating institution may submit three nominations for each year’s Luce Scholars competition. Deadline for submission is November 1. All nominees will automatically receive a first-round interview. Applications from interested candidates not affiliated with a nominating institution will be reviewed by the Luce Scholars program staff; strong candidates will advance and participate in the Luce Scholars competition along with candidates put forward by nominating institutions.
