After a two-year installation in oyster beds in Willapa Bay, WA, then on a desert mesa in Escalante,, UT, the sculpture was retrieved and exhibited, first at the Bellevue Arts Museum, WA in 2008, then at Cynthia Reeves Gallery, NY. It is currently in a private collection.

Drawing on the Anchorage Museum’s program of artist residencies in the Polar North, this sixth session of the Henry Luce Foundation Conversations on American Art and Museums series at the New-York Historical Society explores how museums and artists in collaboration might connect or reconnect us to the Earth’s landscapes and build deeper understandings of past, present, and future.
