The Feminist Press, New York, NY—To support the initial planning phase of GPS to a Career in Science. A one-time grant of $35,000.

Higher Education Resource Services (HERS), Denver, CO—To support HERS Summit of Women Presidents and Chancellors in Higher Education to be held in April 2012. A one-time grant of $35,000.

LaGuardia Community College, Long Island City, NY—To support the initiatives of the Office of Transfer Services for students transferring to four-year colleges. A one-time grant of $25,000.

Project Pericles, New York, NY—To support the 2011-2012 “D4D on the Road” workshops. A one-time grant of $30,000.

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA—To update and revise the ADVANCE Portal website. A one-time grant of $38,000.

Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO—To identify the relationships among learning styles of first-year students, attrition from the sciences, technology, mathematics and engineering (STEM), and faculty teaching strategies. A four-year grant of $285,000.
