These are the guidelines for the Henry R. Luce Initiative on Religion in International Affairs. You should also familiarize yourself with the Foundation’s general guidelines before beginning the application process.

The Henry R. Luce Initiative on Religion in International Affairs aims to provide intellectual leadership, develop new paradigms for research and teaching, create new resources and networks, and enhance public understanding of and discussion about religion in the international sphere.

For more information about the program and an overview of the types of work supported, visit the Program Overview.

Letters of inquiry can be submitted at any time through our online portal. Should you have questions in advance of completing the Letter of Inquiry, you may e-mail them to Dr. Toby Alice Volkman, Director of Policy Initiatives at tvolkman@hluce.org.
